Hi, I’m Faisal Feroz
Chief Technical Architect | Fractional CTO | AI & Enterprise Architecture Advisor
I help organizations move from legacy, firefighting-heavy systems to scalable, AI-first platforms.
With 20+ years in software engineering and architecture, my work sits at the intersection of technology, leadership, and execution.
What I Do
I partner with executives, founders, and engineering leaders to:
- Modernize legacy platforms into cloud-native, microservices-based systems
- Design event-driven architectures that scale reliably under real-world load
- Build production-grade AI systems using ML, GenAI, and LLMs
- Lead organizations through Agile and cultural transformation
- Act as a fractional CTO, aligning technology decisions with business outcomes
I’m hands-on when needed and strategic where it matters most.
AI in the Real World (Not Just Demos)
A large part of my work focuses on applied AI at scale, including:
- Automated information retrieval and information extraction
- Standardization, categorization, and enrichment of complex product data
- In-house GenAI models for rich content (A+ content)
- Context-aware translation / localization across 29 languages
- Strong emphasis on data quality, consistently achieving >90% precision and recall
My goal is simple: AI that can be trusted, measured, and operated in production.
From Firefighting to Focus
When I step into organizations, they’re often:
Stuck on legacy tech, manual processes, and constant firefighting.
I help change that by:
- Establishing clear architecture and engineering standards
- Introducing automation and AI where it creates leverage
- Transitioning teams from waterfall to Agile
- Reskilling teams and addressing stakeholder concerns around change
The result: teams move from reactive support to innovation, scale, and growth.
How I Work
I believe great systems are built at the intersection of:
people, process, and architecture.
I enjoy mentoring engineers, working closely with leadership, and turning complex problems into simple, durable solutions.
Why I Write Here
I use this space to share:
- Lessons from AI-first transformation
- Architecture patterns that work in practice
- Insights from leading large-scale modernization efforts
- Thoughts on leadership, systems, and decision-making
If you’re interested in AI, architecture, or technology leadership, you’re in the right place.
